Emily graduated from her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in July 2019. Currently, Emily is studying a Master’s in Developmental Psychology at the University of Surrey.

Emily did her undergraduate placement year at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children on an inpatient ward for young people with a range of mental health difficulties. In addition to this she has worked with children with learning difficulties in a school setting. In these experiences Emily has gained an appreciation for the importance of person centred care.

Emily is passionate about mental health and wellbeing in particular working with children. She is also an elite netball player for Surrey Storm and keen to combine her interest in sport with mental health and wellbeing. Emily is hoping to complete further studies in the area of clinical psychology.
